A luxury cinema experience! Not as expensive as you might have imagined though. Right above the Intu shopping centre with loads of parking available undercover within a few minutes walk. Seats were more comfortable than in other cinemas, and the staff really look after the carpet, toilets etc making sure everything is in great condition. Great place to bring your family. We had a fantastic time.
Love this place! Best cinemas in derby!! Clean, tidy, and fresh cool Air as your watching a film. Always enjoyed it here. Always a welcome site, as staff can't be any more helpful. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND for all the family.

We love this cinema. It's always clean, staff are friendly & helpful. We visit often for the kids club on the weekend and half terms, my 10yr old is small for his age & Odeon have booster cusions which he has every time we visit. Great value for money all round, the kids clubs great for a rainy morning as it's only £2 50 per person so very affordable which appeals to us as a family on rainy days.
Love this cinema! Sometimes busy. Friendly staff. Quick service. Cheap prices. Their food and drinks could do with being a bit cheaper thought. Still. great cinema. I recommend.

Came to see The Old Dark House which was excellent and loved The Box - so comfortable. Excellent exhibition of Mark Neville's moving and important work. Bought the books so now poorer in pocket but richer in knowledge. Coming back in two weeks for double bill of Frankenstein and Bride of himself plus course on the horror films of Universal. Oh Heaven Thy Name is Quad.
Their excellent bistro cafe is a fantastic place for a bite to eat, with great menu options all at realistic prices. The Quad stands out with it's cinema. Watching a film while sitting on a huge comfortable sofa what could be better. Staff are very polite and friendly. Would certainly go again

Guildhall Theatre (Derby LIVE, Market Place, Derby DE1 3AE, UK – 01332 255800
Visited here for the first time to see Talon in concert. The venue is quite small in relation to other places we have visited. But it's a great place to see bands "up close and personal'. Quite a relaxed atmosphere and a decent bar Which isn't too expensive. Only one complaint it's not very well signposted despite being in the centre of Derby.
A beautiful old theatre with amazing arched plaster ceiling in the auditorium. Very varied acts and performances from touring rep. to bands and solo artists, arts and folk festivals and amateur dramatic societies use it throughout the year. As is so often the case with theatres, the bar prices are about £1/pint more than anywhere else in Derby, which is a shame. Otherwise a great little venue and worth having a look.

I had forgotten that I had already been here in 2014. Great place! Last time I had gone was for my son's secondary school meeting but in 2014 it was for a stage performance.
Went to watch Derby university theatre production of A picture of Dorian Gray. Plenty of parking, snacks and drinks available before and halfway through play. Nice intimate theatre and enjoyable to watch performance.
